Kelsey + Joe's Finger Lakes Wedding | Heron Hill Winery
After stumbling on Heron Hill Winery during a quick holiday getaway, Kelsey and Joe decided it was the perfect picturesque spot to host their August 2019 wedding!
Quick holiday getaways played a huge part in this couple's lives while they were dating - because they were mostly dating long distance! Just two short years after falling in love, Joe decided he wanted to become a pilot. Knowing he was her soulmate, Kelsey decided to support him through his years of training - even though it meant spending so much time apart.
August 23, 2020 they finally got their fairy tale wedding and an incredible celebration with all of their family and friends! Seriously - this party had it all! A bridal party of 20, family and friends from all across the country, epic party shirts for the groomsmen, the cutest choreographed dance between bride Kelsey and her brother, endless smiles, delicious food and a dance party that had the whole tent at Heron Hill shaking 🙌
Arriving guests were treated to a wine tasting before settling down for the ceremony held in the beautiful gardens adjacent to the wine tasting room. We took photos of the bridal party and the new Mr. & Mrs. in Heron Hill's gorgeous vineyard as well as up in the observation tower. The reception took place under the white tent overlooking Keuka Lake.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple! Joe deployed a few short months after their wedding, so they are back to living their lives long distance. I'm so happy I got to witness their true love firsthand. Long distance may be tough, but if anyone's got this in the bag it's Kelsey & Joe 🖤
I loved that Kelsey had her girls dress in white dresses alongside her! Such a fun & unique idea! And if you can't tell from the photos, this bridal party was a riot! They couldn't stop smiling and neither could I 😆
Kelsey's choreographed dance with her brother was so much fun! It was by no means a traditional slow dance and included some epic moves such as this one 🤘
