Erin + Justin's East Aurora fall engagement session | Elm Street Bakery + Knox Farm
You know that excited feeling when you meet people you really click with? Great… then you know how I felt when I sat down with Erin and Justin for their wedding photography consultation 🤘
Actually, before I had even met them I was super hyped about their wedding. The new Resurgence Brewing on Chicago had just opened and I was dying to not only check out their new space, but to photograph a wedding in it. Within hours of me talking my boyfriend’s ear off about it, an inquiry pops into my inbox from these two!
As we sat in Resurgence sipping delicious locally brewed beer we chatted away about camping, fishing, kayaking and our love of pitbulls. It was pretty clear that we had a lot in common (outside of wanting to create a beautiful wedding for these two 🤣).
Two months later we met again for their engagement session and decided to start it the same way - sippin some brews (by the way, this is my favorite way to start an engagement session - gets ya a little loosey-goosey for your shoot 😉).
This time we hit Elm Street Bakery in East Aurora. If you’ve never been, this place is the epitome of adorable - which is saying a lot for a business that’s in a town packed with super cute shops and restaurants.
From there we took a walk down Elm Street using East Aurora as our backdrop for lots of cute, candid engagement photos. We had so much fun exchanging stories and chatting away.
Right down the road in East Aurora is Knox Farm, so that’s where we ended our session! We walked all over the grounds, visited my favorite tree and pond, and took in the gorgeous sky at sunset.
Their wedding is just three months away and I’m so excited for them to finally say “I do” and start their lives as a married couple! And lucky me gets to capture it all for them 🥰 Can’t wait!!!!
