Buffalo Canalside Engagement Session
If you’ve lived in Buffalo long enough, you’re lucky to have been able to experience firsthand the resurgence of Buffalo’s Canalside district! Now a hotspot for eating & drinking, taking a stroll along the river or polishing up on your history of Buffalo - it’s also a great place to snap some engagement photos! Some of my favorite spots include along the waterfront overlooking the Buffalo River, the Naval Park and the industrial bridges.
This is also a great spot if you want to include an activity in your photos! Canalside offers ice skating and curling in the winter and in the warmer months you can rent a bike or play on one of the game tables.
Tips for visiting Canalside for portraits - pick a time that’s less populated and make sure to check their event calendar to make sure you’re not trying to shoot during a concert or any other event. I’ve found that weeknight evenings in the spring, fall and winter work the best :)
