WHAT IS A BRIDAL BOUDOIR PHOTO SHOOT?
Boudoir photos are typically done in lingerie (though you can get creative and do other outfits too) and some bridal wear as a gift for your future spouse on your wedding day. Keep reading for outfit and accessory ideas!
WHY ARE BOUDOIR PHOTOS THE BEST WEDDING GIFT EVER?
Stating the obvious, your sweetheart is going to LOVE seeing sexy photos of you. And if you're good at keeping secrets, it will totally blow their mind!
But that's not why I think it's the best gift ever. My favorite reason to do boudoir as a wedding gift is for YOU! You're going to get a day that's all about you - you'll get professional hair and makeup, have a fun photo shoot playing in different gorgeous outfits all while someone shouts at you how stunning you are and you're going to walk out of the studio feeling like a badass, empowered QUEEN. Just like every bride should feel before her big day :)
WHAT DOES A BRIDAL BOUDOIR SESSION INCLUDE?
Included in the session fee is hair and makeup by a professional stylist, an hour long photos shoot with professional posing and guiding, access to my client closet of clothes, lingerie, shoes, jewelry and lots of accessories plus the Ultimate Prep Guide to get you ready! There will be options to add on more time, outfits and even the wet set if you'd like too.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING BOUDOIR SHOOT?
I suggest booking two months out from your wedding date to make sure you have time to choose your favorite photos to print or put in an album and for me to order any products for you! Most products take 3-4 weeks to produce and ship.
HOW DO I POSE FOR MY BOUDOIR PHOTOS?
Worried that you'll have no idea what you're doing when you get here?! Don't!! 😉
Most women who come through my door have never done anything like this before! You'll probably be a lovely cocktail of excited and nervous emotions the day of your shoot - that's totally normal. We'll chat during hair and makeup, you'll get a nice pep talk before we begin and then with my combination of professional posing and lighting you'll be feeling relaxed and like a star in no time. I'll also show you your photos on the back of my camera throughout the shoot to continuously hype you up!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY BRIDAL BOUDOIR SESSION?
White lingerie is typical, but you can choose to wear colors from your wedding or just colors that you or your hunny loves to see on you. For accessories make sure to bring your jewelry, shoes, garter, custom jacket, hair pieces, veil, even your wedding dress. (If you're coming to my studio, I have a nice collection of veils for you to choose from so you don't have to worry about bringing your own!)

If you'd like to use any client closet items, you can come in for a styling session to try items on prior to your shoot so that you know you have outfits that fit and flatter you well.
