Float Away With Me!
I've spent many happy summer Sundays floating the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania this year. I brought along my Canon on a few of these occasions, but this particular Sunday a few weeks ago was by far the most spectacularly beautiful day yet.
We launched the boats around 7am and the morning fog was still sitting on the river. As the sun rose and reflected off of the fog on the water, it was quite a magical scene. Quite a few fish were caught that day too which is always a bonus when you're out on the river to fish :) Ryan rowed his Stealthcraft while Joe showed off catching smallmouth bass, brown trout and walleye and I followed along in my kayak.
I can't wait to see what the Allegheny is looking like this upcoming Sunday now that's it's officially fall. The leaves were already starting to turn a few weeks ago so it should be gorgeous! Stay tuned for photos!
And if you're feeling a little jealous of our awesome river floats, Captain Ryan just passed his fishing guide exam and will be a licensed guide soon - so you too can witness the joy of a day spent fishing from the Stealthcraft with one very talented fly fisherman guiding you (and professional photos of all your adventures too if you'd like)! Feel free to contact me for more information on guided tours : )
